Accomplishments in Office as Norwood Auditor

Providing transparency in Government by creating monthly financial reports for the public available in the Auditors office.

Appointed Auditor staff with financial, accounting, and technology experience.

Prepared and filed financial reports for the years 2006 and 2007. 

Prepared the award winning 2008 CAFR.  The first time this report was produced since 2003.

Prepared the 2009 CAFR, currently being reviewed for the GFOA award.

Works to help City Council prepare a balanced budget.

Modernizing the City's financial systems and technologies.

Identifying and correcting inefficiencies.

Worked in conjunction with the Law Office to identify overpayments of property taxes saving the City over $13,000.00 a year.

Brought the Auditor's office online making the City's information available to it's citizens.
